This year is really heating up to be a very close finish with just a few points separating the top 6 teams, anyone could take out this year’s title. The guys from TLCC are defiantly the team everyone is chasing with the Brindebellas hot on their heels, this year’s final is going to be epic. We had a great day of racing on round 3 with excellent driving from all teams and some surprisingly good placings by some new teams. There were some teams to get through the day with little or no penalties making the need for a clean quick run even more important We also had the introduction of the outlaw class sponsored by Locktup, these guys had their times slashed down to as low as 2 minutes on some courses making for excellent driving and plenty of action for spectators.

With new sponsorship coming from Parramatta TJM getting behind the event and course one the Rocky Road, with some of the biggest rocks we could fit in a truck. Mickey Thompson taking on course two the log course, home of the steepest climb at the Masters, Premier Winches for course 3 the dreaded Concrete Jungle, RDG Engineering putting their name to course 4 the All terrain Course with the every deepening bog hole and Locktup who claimed course seven The Skate Park, the TJM Parramatta 4x4 Masters is looking better than ever.
The prize pool is gathering steam, thanks to our awesome sponsorship crew, round 4 and the finals is going to be our biggest prize offering yet. The team from RDG Engineering is working on custom trophies for the final series winner, these trophies are very cool and will certainly take pride of place in any trophy cabinet.
The finals will be a shoot out format similar to the rugby league with the top placed teams fighting it out for top honours. This will follow presentation after round 4 under lights on the 5th of November, so don’t go home early or you will miss out.
We are working on dates for next year and these will be posted soon, the day/nighter will be back in 2012.
